Owner and founder, Peiru Kim purchased Sugarcoat Beauty in 2010 from an online business listing and started life as a small business owner. She attended beauty school at night to learn the business from ground up while running the business during the day. She worked 7 days a week and immersed in daily operations to learn everything she could about the business. From the front of the house to the back of the house, she wanted to learn it all. What she loved the most was the people she served, she wanted to make a difference for those she got to touch day in and day out. This passion for providing a healthy environment, high quality products and the best services, inspired her to open up Hair Bar By Sugarcoat. She has opened up a full-service beauty bar with her amazing team that can now provide what Peiru does best, taking care of others.

Sugarcoat Beauty strives for excellence in every area of the business. We use high quality products such as Oribe, Chanel, OPI, and Essie. We use top of the line spa chairs that are pipeless with the latest technology in the industry. It is our goal to provide a healthy environment for our clients and the community. Sugarcoat has a line of nail care products that are vegan, cruelty-free, free of damaging chemicals and made in the USA. We look forward to serving you at one of our locations near you soon!!
